Content Snapshot
LA-We will be memorizing Dreams by Langson Hughes. We will start right back up with our spelling words. We will read chapters 3-5 in Robin Hood. In grammar we will be introduced to prepositions!
MATH- We will be conquering double digit multiplication!
SCIENCE- We will begin learning about organisms and taxonomy!
HISTORY- We will be taking a look at the great eastern Emperors, Justinian and Theodora.
Spelling:
Public service announcement! Every Thursday for homework, the students are assigned a spelling "practice test". This involves the student and the parent. The parent will read the words to the student in the form of a mock test. Afterwards, the student should check their work. If they check their work and find inaccuracies, they should proceed to study those particular words to ensure mastery before the test on Friday. This homework assignment is very important, and I really appreciate your weekly involvement with this assignment going forward. Thank you!
