Quarter 2 Week 4

Hello Wonderful Fourth Grade Families!

Assessments:
Robin Hood Quiz Friday
Fractions Test Thursday
Science Quiz Wednesday

Content:
LA: In language arts we are working on spelling. We are trying out a new format there. We do 15 words on Monday and Tuesday, study on Wednesday, play a spelling game in class and do a practice test for homework on Thursday, and then test on Friday. In grammar we are working on a descriptive essay. We will continue to read Robin Hood and take a quiz this Friday.
Math: We are working on fractions. See if you can practice these at home! We will be adding and subtracting fractions, with like and unlike denominators. There will be a test on Thursday!
Science: We are fitting a ton of content in this week. Starting with animal adaptations and survival strategies, we are in for some interesting stuff! There will be a quizlet on Wednesday covering notebook pages 33-38. They will need to be able to read a graph!
History: We will be discussing some important medieval figures such as William the Conquerer, Henry II, Thomas Beckett, and Eleanor of Aquitaine!
